In our busy lives, every once and awhile time needs to be taken off. Kinda like a "great escape" for a week-end. The time to forget our daily chores and responsibilities of work. My escape- CARS!! My husband and I love to take our two "vintage" cars to different cruises around the New England area. We have a '71 Corvette wide body and a '75 Camaro (like in the Transformer movie) both that we drive on the road and breeze down the highway.

     We meet so many people and beautiful, wonderful vehicles. Everyone puts a lot of care and love into these vehicles just to keep that "back in the day" look. All of the classic cars we see and meet are just extensions of ourselves. After all, wouldn't all of our mothers be proud to see that we keep these old cars cleaner than we kept our rooms when we were young?

     So, if at any time, you get that crazy feeling to do something different, just drive to the nearest cruise and plan to have a really good time. The people will be a joy to talk to and the cars will be a pleasure to see. Who knows, you might meet up with a connection to your past! That has also happened to me a number of times.
